  • Create a code that will block programs with mature ratings. Here's how: 1. Push the menu button on your direct TV remote. 2. Select the parental control option. 3. Customize your tv viewing options by controling the maximum rating that is allowed, block out certain channels, hide channels that are characterized as "mature adult", set parameters of viewing hours, and a passcode.
