• When does my Sunday School Group meet? Answer: Look below and find your group. It is listed in the Sunday School time it has chosen.
• When is Sunday School for birth through 3 year olds? Answer: The Sunday School and Worship schedule for birth through 3 years old has changed only with respect to time. They will go to Sunday School first and then to Extended Session (nursery during worship) like they've always done. Their Sunday School just starts a little earlier (9:00 a.m.).
• Why do 4 year olds have a Sunday School Group meeting during Sunday School 2 and birth through age 3 do not? Answer: When children reach age 4, they no longer can attend Extended Session (nursery during worship). Since they are expected to go to worship with their parents, that means they must be in the same Sunday School time as well. Therefore, there needs to be a 4-5 year old Sunday School Group that meets during both Sunday School times.
• When will my child's Sunday School Group meet? Answer: Children's Sunday School Groups are offered during both Sunday School times. Children (Preschool 4 years through Youth Grade 12) are expected to go to the same Sunday School as their parents. For example, if you were in Mark Wallace's Sunday School Group (see below), you and your children would go to the first Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. Then you would attend worship together at 10:30 a.m. Contrast that with this example: if you were in Craig Richardson's Sunday School Group (see below), you and your children would attend worship at 9:00 a.m. and then go to Sunday School at 10:30 a.m.
• What is my schedule if I'm in the choir? Answer: Choir members have been asked to sing in both worship services if possible. If you are a choir member in Sunday School 1, you would go to the first worship service and sing during the music portion of the service and then exit to your Sunday School Group. Then you would attend all of the second worship service. If you are a choir member in Sunday School 2, you would go to worship and stay the entire time. Then sing in the music portion of the second worship service and exit afterward to go to Sunday School.
• What do my children do if I'm in the choir? Answer: Your children would go to Sunday School at the start time of when your Sunday School Group meets. If your Sunday School Group meets in Sunday School 1, your children would go to Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and then worship at 10:30. (There's no need for them to sit in the first worship while you sing and then exit. They can go on to Sunday School as you arrive.) If you are a choir member in Sunday School 2, your children will go with you to the first worship service and stay the entire time with you. Then your children would go to Sunday School 2 at 10:30 a.m. while you sing in the music portion of the worship service. After the music is over, you would exit to your Sunday School Group.
• Can my youth (Grades 7-12) attend a different Sunday School time than parents? Answer: We expect and desire that families be in worship together. In order to assure this, youth should go to the same Sunday School as their parents. There is a large group assembly planned at 10:20 a.m. for all youth so they can have a little time together and receive important information pertaining to the Student Ministry.
