New Members, my name is Brian McKee and I am the Discipleship Pastor at FBC Summit. We are excited that you have decided to join the FBC Summit family and want to prepare you for a great experience in the years to come through what we call, Summit 101. Basically, it's a new member orientation - to the campus, to our ministries, and to the staff.
This page has resource links to help you get plugged in to FBC Summit and to help you discover your spiritual gifts.
What is Summit 101?
Free Midweek Meal ... Each week during the school year, we have a midweek meal for FBC Summit families. On the nights we do Summit 101, we feed new members and their families the Midweek Meal free of charge.. Anytime between 4:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., new members and their families can come eat in the Christian Life Center. There will be a sign in table with a hostess that will register you and point you to the area where new members and their families are sitting. This allows the ministerial staff to find you easily and introduce themselves. You can come anytime between 4:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. It's not a set time.
Campus Tour ... At 6:00 p.m., all adult new members will start from the CLC with a tour of the FBC Summit campus. If new members can't be at the meal, it is perfectly all right to arrive just in time for the tour. The tour will end in Annex 105 for the orientation/information time. Read further.
Orientation/Information Time ... After the tour, Brian McKee Discipleship Pastor will present some information about the ministries of FBC Summit and collect the surveys that were included in your new member packet you received the day you joined the church. Then Dr. Larry LeBlanc will join in and share his call to ministry, the mission of FBC Summit, and take some Q and A.
