Baptism

Baptism is a step of obedience after a person accepts Christ as Savior. It has no power to save. It is symbolic of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection, and is a public way to indicate to the world that you have become a Christian. Baptism is also the prescribed way that our church accepts people into the membership of the church. We believe that biblical baptism is by immersion, a complete "dunking" of the individual into the water.

  • Scriptures: Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 6:4

If you would like to speak with one of our ministers about being baptized, please contact the church office at 601-276-2396.
