Clay has been on staff as Media Director since June 2023. He previously worked as a band director in Mississippi public schools and community colleges for 29 years. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College in Music Education and his Master’s from the same institution in Percussion Performance. As a percussionist, he performed with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra for six years and has also performed with Michael Martin Murphey, Dudley Moore, Dino Kartsonakis, The Dixie Chicks and Sandy Patty. Clay and his family live in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
